One of my favorite bromeliads. Just look at the amazing display this plant puts on. Even when it's not flowering it is beautiful. It's green with white striping on the inside and dark purple with white striping on the outside of the leaves. I have this in the front and back yard where it gets filtered sun. It blooms every year with amazing red & yellow bracts, the flowers seem insignificant by comparison.
